The PSU was established in 2003, and exists to promote and
enhance the development of partnership working across NHSScotland.
We do this through:
providing a focal point for two-way communication around partnership
working across the service
supporting organisations to review their own understanding
of partnership, and to take stock of the effectiveness of local
partnership mechanisms
providing tailored training and development programmes relating
to partnership working
commissioning and carrying out research to identify and promote
examples of good practice
