Welcome to the Framework for Nursing in General Practice
web-site.
The framework is being created to support the development
of practice nursing alongside the implementation of the new
GMS contract.
The website sets out the purpose of the framework, shares
current work in progress and seeks contributions on good practice
and issues in the field of practice nursing.
A Consensus Conference took place on Thursday 25 March 2004
at the Edinburgh Hilton Airport Hotel. The event was attended
by about 200 various people, including Practice Nurses, General
Practitioners, Practice and LHCC Managers and Nurse Leaders.
It was organised to allow participants to contribute to the
development of the Framework for Nursing in General Practice.
