The Chief Nursing Officers
Review of Mental Health Nursing in Scotland commenced
in April 2005 and will report in March 2006. The
review provides an opportunity to celebrate current
successes and models of good practice in mental
health nursing and to share these on a national
basis.
You are invited to submit examples
of positive practice:
Ø
Practice that has made a positive difference to the
experience and outcomes of care for service users
and their families and carers
And Innovative practice:
Ø
Practice that demonstrates innovation and new ways
of working worthy of sharing on a national basis.
It is recognised that mental health
nurses work in multi-disciplinary and agency teams
and services, and initiatives are often progressed
in this context. For the purpose of this call for submissions,
examples should demonstrate instances where mental
health nurses have played a key or lead role,
in developing, establishing and sustaining positive
