Good Practice in Action

Home Page

Welcome to the NHSScotland National Good Practice in Action web site which has been formally launched by the Minister for Health and Community Care, Malcolm Chisholm MSP.

The purpose of this web site is to share current and new and innovative examples of good practice across the National Health Service in Scotland and beyond. The web site will be constantly monitored and updated with new examples. After three months, these new examples will be automatically transferred to the National Common Practice in Action section of the web site.

The Examples are organised by Subject and by NHS Board Area. These can be accessed from the Index page. Alternatively, there is a facility to Search for examples.

There is also a page containing Links to other established web sites within NHSScotland which display examples of good practice in their areas of expertise.

If, as an NHSScotland employee, you wish to submit an example of good practice for consideration as an addition to the site, please access the Guidance page, which holds the Criteria for Submissions and the on-line Submission Form.
