Description
Sets out some general principles to be followed by Health Boards and Primary Care Trusts in developing Local Health Care Co-operatives (LHCCs).
The concept of LHCCs was set out in paragraphs 71-82 of the White Paper 'Designed to Care', and these paragraphs appear in an Annex to this MEL.
This MEL has sections on Background, Organisation, Objectives, Staffing, Financing, Resource Allocation, Consultation, Clinical Governance, Staff, Premises and Computing.
