This web site contains information about the development
and implementation of new healthcare and appliance supply
arrangements for stoma patients in the community which were
introduced in April 2006.
The finalised arrangements were announced in a Director-General
Health Letter dated 28 February 2006; previous circulars
and documents are available here
A national review Group has been established to review implementation
of the new arrangements and papers for this can be found here.
NHS QIS commissioned Information Statistics Division of NHS
National Services Scotland to audit the quality of service
provided to patients. The report can be found at the Clinical
