This project is focusing on the summary caseload information that should be available nationally to standardised definitions throughout Scotland. It is part of the National Clinical Datasets Development Programme within the Clinical Information Working Group of the eHealth strategy, which is particularly considering AHP and Community Nursing Information standards.

Projective Objectives

The project objectives are to:-

• Define minimum AHP Summary dataset
• Define summary information from AHPs to be held in Integrated Care Records
• Define profile of information each profession requires from Integrated Care Records.
• Identify gaps in IT systems provision
• Consider Population model as well as patient model

AHP Information Development Officer
Margaret Hastings has been seconded since October 2003, from NHS Argyll & Clyde part time, as the AHP Information Development Officer within the Primary Care Division of the Scottish Executive Health Division.
